I’m sure you’ll agree that the blessings of motherhood are uncountable. Yet is it just me, or have you ever felt I want some ‘Me’ time. I remember I was fortunate enough to stop work once we decided to start a family, but I struggled with the lack of stimulation that I got in the early months of being a mum. From spending the whole day in my pyjamas and sometimes brushing my teeth only once my husband walked in from work, seemed as if I was doomed for a life of misery. Don’t get me wrong, I love my children to the end of the earth, I just felt that I had lost myself somewhere in this process of becoming a mother. So, for me nursery for my 4 month old for 3 mornings a week seemed the perfect ingredients. He settled well, our time together was more meaningful and I looked forward to being with him as much as he did me. I don’t think this sounds selfish at all, although there were those that disagreed, my mum being one of them! At Little Pandas we provide stay and play sessions every Sunday and Thursday morning from 10-12 noon. If you haven’t yet taken some ‘Me’ time then there is no better place to start.
On the other hand if you are a working mum, nursery becomes a necessity from an early age. To leave your little one in safe hands while you’re at work is key to your ability to work effectively. At Little Pandas we offer the flexibility of settling your child around your timings, as well as offering an open door policy of you being able to drop in to see how happy your ‘Habibti’ is!
In answer to the question, remember if you are to give your 100% to your family, you need to feel 110% in yourself. This is the key to successful and secure relationships.
