Last week, the Queen celebrated her 91st birthday and to mark the occasion, her great-grandchildren, three-year-old Prince George and one-year-old Princess Charlotte, got crafty and made her a gift.
Prince William, 34, and Duchess Kate, 35, told BBC Radio 1 that they relied on their children to give a handmade gift.
‘It’s quite hard to know what to give the Queen for a 91st birthday,’ said the prince.
‘We’ve tried making a few things.
‘Now the great-grandchildren are around, they can make things, and of course, that goes down really well.
‘George does, he’s very good at arts and crafts.’
Kate continued to say that she and William are getting the Queen something made.
Prince George’s favorite TV show
The royal couple also revealed that they watch a lot of children’s TV with their little ones.
‘Some of [the kids’ shows] are really good, but you have to pretend you’re really interested in it because George gets really upset if you’re not showing due diligence to the characters,’ William laughed.
He added that George has taken an interest in Fireman Sam, but is past the Peppa Pig stage.
‘Charlotte will probably be at the Peppa Pig stage soon,’ he said.
When asked what they enjoy to watch together, William said: ‘We’re both keen on box sets when we get time in the evening.’
‘When the kiddies are in bed,’ Kate added.
‘Homeland, Game of Thrones … they’re worth watching,’ William continued.
